Are you hailing from the orange zone on this map of Toronto? If so, join activists from across the Scarborough Community Council District for the second in a series of Cycle Toronto District Advocacy Events.*

Learn how you can get involved in neighbourhood projects right now.

After a short introduction to Cycle Toronto and the Ward Advocacy program, our Danforth Loves Bikes campaign team will present on their recent and upcoming work in Scarborough.

Next up, representatives from each of the active cycling advoacy groups in the district will have a chance to pitch a campaign, project, or event to the audience, and call on volunteers to sign up for related roles or tasks. After the presentations there will be a chance for everyone to connect one-on-one with the project leads about getting involved.

This event series is intended as a way to make it easier for new volunteers to get involved in Ward Advocacy, and to help identify overlaps in campaigns, projects, or events that transcend ward boundaries. It’s a chance to connect and coordinate, and to take our bike advocacy to the next level.
