Wednesday March 4, 2020.
1pm – 2pm EST

Communities that cycle benefit immensely from positive health benefits, friendlier streets, reduced traffic congestion, reductions in GHG emissions, and improvements in air quality, but this doesn’t happen on its own. Wondering what it takes to incubate cycling in communities that have little to no uptake already?

Participate in The Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT)’s webinar to learn how to incubate cycling through a community bike hub approach and tap into the potential that exists for short bike trips in suburban environments, where cycling rates remain stubbornly low. TCAT’s approach can be used as a framework to increasing cycling in suburban communities across Canada.
