Summer is here and both of TCAT’s Scarborough Cycles bike hubs are buzzing with activity. This month our hubs have increased their DIY Drop-In Bike Repair hours/days, while several Bike Maintenance Workshops and group ridescontinue to be offered at both locations throughout the summer. Our AccessPoint on Danforth Thursday evening group ride is especially popular with a regular turnout of 15-20 cyclists.
Our Birchmount Bluffs Neighbourhood Centre bike hub will be hosting a free Safe Cycling 101 Workshop on July 27th from 7-8pm. Working with our partner Cycle Toronto, this workshop has been tailored to highlight the opportunities and challenges of cycling in suburban areas.
Last weekend, Scarborough Cycles was a supporting partner for the P4K Pathfinding Ride with CultureLink and Cycle Toronto, which featured a beautiful ride through Scarborough on the Pan Am Path and a picnic in Morningside Park.
